Lee S. Coleman is a judge for the Sixteenth Judicial District (Place 3) of Mississippi. He was elected to the position in 2010.[1] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins in 2015 and expires in 2018.[2][3]

Coleman ran for re-election to the Sixteenth Judicial District.
General: He defeated Monique Montgomery in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 60.8 percent of the vote. [3] 

2010

Coleman competed against Bob Marshall and Nebra Porter in the general election for the Mississippi Circuit Court. He defeated Nebra Porter in the runoff election, winning 55% of the vote.[4][5][1]

Education

Coleman received an undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi, going on to earn his J.D. there as well.[6]

Career

Prior to his judicial election in 2010, Coleman spent 35 years practicing general law. He served two terms as an elected representative in the Mississippi House of Representatives and also worked for over 25 years as an attorney for the Clay County Board of Supervisors.[6]
