Nevada on ![]() |
The Legislative Operations and Elections Committee is a standing committee of the Nevada Assembly. This Committee was renamed from the former Elections, Procedures, Ethics, and Constitutional Amendments Committee, starting with the 2011 Legislative session.[1]
Per Assembly Rule 41, standing committees of the Nevada State Assembly are appointed by the Assembly Speaker.[2] Generally, party membership of committees reflects the chamber's partisan breakdown as a whole.[3] The Speaker may appoint alternate members if a committee member is unable to perform their duties.[4]
