Legislative Performance Audit and Oversight Committee, New Hampshire State Legislature
The Legislative Performance Audit and Oversight Committee is a standing joint committee of the New Hampshire General Court.
Per state statute, the Speaker of the House and House Minority Leader appoint House members to the committee and the President of the Senate and Senate Minority Leader appoint Senate members. Appointments must be made no later than December 30 following a general election. Members elect the committee chair, which must rotate between a House and a Senate member, biennially. Four members constitute a quorum.[1]
