Texas: Judge Debra Lehrmann was appointed to the Texas Supreme Court by Gov. Perry on May 28, 2010.

Lehrmann previously served on the 360th District Court for 8 years. Before that, she was an associate judge for 14 years.

Lehrmann will replace retiring Justice Harriet O'Neill on Place 3 of the court until the November general election determines a permanent successor. Lehrmann will run as the incumbent in this election against Democrat Jim Sharp, who is currently a Court of Appeals judge.[1]
