Leigh Chapman (Democratic Party) was the Pennsylvania Secretary of State. She assumed office on January 8, 2022. She left office on January 17, 2023.

Chapman was appointed by Gov. Tom Wolf (D) to replace Acting Secretary of State Veronica Degraffenreid.[1]

Biography

Chapman received a bachelor's degree in American studies and history in 2006 from the University of Virginia. In 2009, Chapman received a doctor of jurisprudence from Howard University School of Law. Chapman has prior experience working as an attorney and as the executive director for Deliver My Vote.[2]
