Two of the seven seats on the Rockwall Independent School District school board were scheduled for at-large general election on May 6, 2017. However, the election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Place 6 incumbent Leigh Plagens and Place 7 incumbent Stephanie Adams were automatically re-elected.[1]
