Biography
Finley was a job coach for the Elmore County Board of Education from 2003 to 2006. She has been the executive director of the Elmore County Economic Development Authority since 2006.[2]

District 4 incumbent Michael Morgan (R) was running unopposed for re-election. A primary was held for the District 5 seat on March 1, 2016, featuring incumbent Larry Teel (R) and Leisa Finley (R). Finley defeated Teel in the primary election.[3] Morgan and Finley won without opposition in the general election.
