Lema Barazi has worked as a trial attorney for 15 years, during which she has served as a felony prosecutor, plaintiff’s attorney, and defense counsel at both state and federal levels. Currently, Barazi is the Litigation Partner of Lloyd & Mousilli where she specializes in commercial and intellectual property litigation. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor, teaching Business Law and Constitutional Law, to university students. Barazi spends her time doing volunteer work, taking pro bono cases that focus on securing asylum for victims fleeing persecution in their home countries in the Middle East. Her fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Arabic, coupled with her keen insight into Middle East politics, has enabled her to successfully secure asylum for numerous individuals and families.
