A Lemon Grove Elementary School District bonds, Proposition W ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Lemon Grove Elementary School District in San Diego County, California, where it was approved.
Proposition W authorized the school district to borrow $28 million.
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.
Lemon Grove School District is a kindergarten-through-eighth-grade district with about 3,950 students.[1]
Prior to the approval of Proposition W, the district had last passed a $12 million bond measure in 1998.

| PROPOSITION W: "To construct science/technology labs; create a math, science and technology magnet middle school; repair and replace plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems and improve handicap access; renovate playgrounds and improve health and fitness facilities; upgrade existing facilities and improve energy efficiency; and construct a joint use library/media center; shall Lemon Grove School District issue $28,000,000 of bonds within legal interest rates with annual audits, independent citizens' oversight, and no money for administrators' salaries?[2] |
