Leo Gordon is a Article III federal judge on senior status for the United States Court of International Trade. He joined the court in 2006 after being nominated by President George W. Bush (R). Gordon retired from full-time service, assuming senior status, on March 22, 2019.[1]

Education

Gordon graduated from the University of North Carolina with his bachelor's degree in 1973 and from the Emory University School of Law with his J.D. degree in 1977.[1]

Gordon was nominated by President George W. Bush (R) on November 10, 2005, to a seat vacated by Judge Thomas Aquilino as Aquilino assumed senior status. Gordon was confirmed by the Senate on March 13, 2006, on a unopposed 82-0-18 vote and received commission on March 16, 2006.[2] Gordon retired from full-time service, assuming senior status, on March 22, 2019.[1]
