Leo Jaramillo (Democratic Party) is a member of the New Mexico State Senate, representing District 5. He assumed office on January 1, 2021. His current term ends on December 31, 2028.
Jaramillo (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Mexico State Senate to represent District 5. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Leo Jaramillo graduated from Española Valley High School. Jaramillo earned a B.A. in mass communication and journalism from the University of New Mexico and an M.A. in education/curriculum design and instructional leadership from the College of Santa Fe. His career experience includes working as a news writer/producer with KRQE News 13, a middle school teacher, and the operations staff manager with the Los Alamos National Laboratory.[1]
