Leon C. Burns, Jr. was a criminal court judge for the Thirteenth Judicial District Criminal Court in Tennessee. The court presides over Clay, Cumberland, DeKalb, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, and White counties.

Brusn served in this position from 1975 to August 2014, when his term expired and he did not seek re-election.[1][2][3]

Education

Burns received his undergraduate degree from the Tennessee Tech University in 1959 and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1972.[1]

Career

Burns worked as an attorney prior to joining the Thirteenth Judicial District Criminal Court in 1975.[1]
