Leon McCord
Leon Clarence McCord (1878-1952) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on June 9, 1938 to a seat created by 52 Stat. 584. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 15th, and received commission on June 24th. On February 26, 1951, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on February 11, 1952.[1]
