Leon Reed, Jr. was a judicial candidate for the Tarrant County Criminal Court in Texas.
Reed ran for election to the court in 2014.[1]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 39.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Carey Walker.

Education
Reed received a B.S. in political science, with a minor in history, from Texas Christian University, and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2003.[4]
Career
Reed started his law practice, The Law Office of Leon Reed, Jr. after graduating from law school. He also serves as counsel at the Walker Law Offices P.A., and was a partner in the law firm Hawkins, Walker & Reed LLC from 2007 to 2009.
Military service
Reed served in the U.S. Marine Corps. for 7 years.[4]
