Leonard A. Weiler is a judge on the Seventh Judicial District in Minnesota. He was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in August 2012.[1]

He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in 2020.[2] On February 1, 2016, Weiler was selected as the replacement for Conrad Freeberg in the same district effective March 1, 2016.[3]

Education

Weiler received his B.A. in criminal justice and political science from Moorhead State University in 1985. He received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1991.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Weiler served as a managing attorney for the Seventh Judicial District public defender.[1]
