Biography

Leonard Fulcher was born in Durham, North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1975. He earned a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in 1977. His career experience includes working as an engineer. Fulcher has been affiliated with American Legion and Boy Scouts of America.[1]

My wife and I came to Arizona in 1973 to Luke AFB from Moron AFB in Spain and have lived here ever since. Rotated out in 1975 and immediately joined the Arizona Air National Guard and exercised my GI Bill going first to GCC then to ASU. Graduated (Cum Laude) in Engineering and joined Honeywell. After 27 years of an incredible career retired as a Senior Engineering Program Manager. Honeywell sent me around the globe meeting with technical and senior management as their corporate representative. Among my side responsibilities was Export Compliance Officer which included authoring Export Compliance documents for Restricted Technologies. Met with senior compliance managers from the State Department, DoD, and Department of Commerce in Washington DC. After retiring started technical company and active volunteering; two Glendale commissions (chairing one), American Red Cross (7 years), American Legion, Boy Scouts, and HOA President.

Traveled to all states, all continents, and stayed in over 55 countries. In my career, my own business, and personal exploring, met with a Saudi Arbian Sheik (1 on 1), the Bahrain Minister of Tourism, afternoon tea in Egypt with Mrs. Anwar Sadat, and other key domestic and international leaders.
