Leonard Serratore a native of New York, became a Floridian over 20 years ago.

After attending high school in New York, he enlisted in the United States Army. After serving he completed his studies at Florida Institute of Technology, earning a BS degree in Aviation Management Transportation Technology. His professional aviation career began at Westchester County Airport New York as an Airport Operations Officer / Fire Fighter / Chief, where he stayed for 14 years. While there, he served as the President of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local I-62 and was liaison officer between that body and Westchester County Management. In 1999 he moved to Florida where he continued his aviation career at Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport as an Airport Terminal Duty Manager. He eventually relocated to Palm Beach International Airport where he rose to the position of Operations Supervisor. His love for Florida and the Floridian way of life prompted him to get involved in community affairs. It wasn't long before he made the selfless decision to run for public office. Leonard has previously run for Palm Beach County Commision and in a special election of the U.S. House to represent Florida's 20th Congressional District.

Leonard is an accomplished private pilot and an aviation buff.

Campaign website

Serratore's website stated the following:

Say no to Socialism!

One of the most significant disadvantages of Socialism includes slow economic growth, less entrepreneurial opportunity and competition, and a potential lack of motivation by individuals due to lesser rewards. These are some of the few reasons Serratore thinks that Socialism isn't doing anyone any good and should not be introduced to the general public.

Self security

The right to security requires the State to take reasonable measures to protect a person's physical and mental security. Political reforms can be an effective way to implement rules and ensure the right to safety for the people of America. Serratore is on a mission to fulfill the most fundamental of rights by reducing security threats while protecting people from the many threats they face.

The police won't be defunded.

At its most basic, "defund the police" means reallocating money from policing to other agencies funded by local municipalities. But it's not only that — defunding the police places a greater strain on existing officers and reduces the likelihood that they'll quit or perform their jobs ineffectively because they're burned out. And the more stress we put on those officers; it can create some adverse effects. Therefore, Serratore is going to do everything in his power not to defund the police.[2]
