Lesa Gelb is a judge on the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She was elected in 2011 and his term expires in 2022.

Education

Gelb earned her B.A. in Government and History from Cornell University in 1982 and her J.D. from Boston University law school in 1985.[1]

Career

Gelb has worked as a private practice attorney since her admission to the bar.

2011 election

Gelb won the Republican and Democratic party primaries on May 17. She received 8.2% in the Democratic primary and 6.8% of the vote in the Republican primary.[2] She was elected in the general election on November 8. winning 13.3% of the vote.[3]

Campaign finance

Gelb has spent less $1,800 since May after being one of the top spenders before the primary at $116,000 most of which went to payroll for attorney Michael Szustak.[4]
