Lesli Gooch
Lesli Elaine McCollum Gooch was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 31st Congressional District of California. At the time of her candidacy, Gooch was the senior policy director to retiring Rep. Gary Miller.[1]
Biography
Gooch served as an intern for the Clerk of the United States Supreme Court while in college. She then earned her Ph.D. in political science from the Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies Center at the University of Oklahoma. At the time of her candidacy, Gooch was the policy director for retiring Rep. Gary Miller.[2]

2014
Gooch ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 31st District. Gooch was defeated in the blanket primary on June 3, 2014.[3]
