Mackie earned an undergraduate degree in political science and government from Texas Tech University.[4]
Career
Mackie worked under private practice attorneys and a county judge prior to becoming a judge herself in 2014. Prior to moving to Sterling County, Mackie founded a spa services business in San Angelo.[4]
