Leslie Petersen (Iowa)
Leslie Petersen was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Ankeny School Board in Iowa. The seat was up for general election on September 8, 2015. She lost to incumbents Mike Rooney, Brad Huss, Dustin Graber and Stephanie Jorgensen.[1][2]
Biography
Petersen is the associate director of accounting for Praxair Distribution, Inc. She previously served on the Ankeny School board from 2005-2011. She lost her re-election bid in 2011. While she was serving on the Ankeny School Board, she was selected as the director of the Iowa Association of School Boards. Petersen has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Drake University. She also has an MBA from Drake University.[3]

Funding
Petersen reported no contributions or expenditures to the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board during the election.[7] Any candidate spending, receiving or incurring debt in the amount of $1,000 or less was not required to file the disclosure form for campaign finances.[8]
