Lester Langer
Lester Langer was a judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Civil Division, in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Lawton Chiles in 1997 and his term expired on January 7, 2013.[1][2][3]
Education
Langer was born in Monticello, NY on February 17, 1946. He received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Miami in 1968 and 1971, respectively. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1968 to 1974.[2][4]
Career
Langer began his career in 1971 as an attorney in private practice. He served as an associate of the law firm of Richard Touby, Frishman and Fein, a partner of Helpern, Shenberg and Langer, a partner of Fletcher and Langer and a sole practitioner prior to joining the Miami-Dade County Court in 1992. In 1997, he became a circuit court judge.[4][2]
