Worked to recover lower Manhattan following 9/11 attacks. Former Chair of Community Board 1 - Staten Island. Brought economic development and parks to the North Shore waterfront.   • Increase public safety by properly funding the NYPD. Provide a pay raise to police officers. Expand cash bail and judicial discretion.
  • Reduce traffic by removing red light and speed cameras and replacing them with Smart Traffic Light technology to be paid for with excess revenue generated from Verrazzano Bridge tolls earmarked for increasing public transportation. Staten Island doesn't have a subway so we must ease traffic to enhance bus service.
  • Vocational training in High School and a focus on reading, writing and math in schools so young people are prepared for work. No mandatory masks or vaccines in schools.
I am passionate about constituent policy and ensuring that government serves it's people, rather than the other way around. New York City government has become punitive instead of proactive. Constituents feel underserved, manipulated and oppressed. Good governance begins with providing incentives for investment into the economy and hope that one can achieve future success.
The Borough President is the planner and chief advocate for the borough. She is responsible for setting an agenda to preserve the quality of life while moving the borough into the future.
Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan and George Pataki. These men were compassionate leaders who were able to balance economic, social and environmental interests while achieving their goals.
Honesty, dependability, the ability to listen and to communicate clearly and a strong work ethic.
