Campaign themes
2012
Guignard has listed his top priorities as: "1) Find ways for government to improve the job market. This will mean less regulation in some areas and lower taxes in others. Government should work with business, not against it; (2) Lower taxes. Spread sales tax to accountants and lawyers and lower it on the general public. Eliminate the sales tax on food. Eliminate the income tax; (3) Find waste and work to eliminate it. Government should not be about taking care of special interests but about helping people take care of themselves."[2]
