Lewis Harris
Lewis Harris was a Republican candidate in the 2011 special election for District 185 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Harris was running to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Robert Donatucci (D). He was defeated in the February 1 special election.
Harris is the founder of two nonprofits, Healthnastics Center Inc. and BB-21 Network and Investment Co. Healthnastics provides educational and recreational programs for kids, teenagers, and adults. BB-21 provides employment and income earning opportunities for the unemployed. Harris also serves as the chairman of the board for the Wharton Center which provides recovery and transitional housing as well as music/art education. He also serves as an adult-caretaker for Infinity Care. Harris graduated from Virginia Union University with a degree in Urban Studies. He is married to his wife Evett Harris. They have three children.[1]
