Lewis Baxter Schwellenbach (1894-1948) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

Schwellenbach was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on May 6, 1940, to a seat vacated by John Stanley Webster; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 6, 1940, and received commission on November 20, 1940. He served the Eastern District of Washington until his resignation on June 30, 1945. Schwellenbach was succeeded in this position by Samuel Driver.
