Liam Hernandez is a working-class community advocate running for Congress in California’s 26th Congressional District. A Ventura County native, he attended Camarillo High School and participated in political science coursework at Oxnard College. Hernandez emphasizes independent leadership, tax fairness, infrastructure and transportation investment, practical education, and policies that put working families ahead of party insiders. He is running to bring a stronger local voice to Washington and challenge politics as usual.
  • Because of my own family experience with struggling to afford healthcare. I have made my platform a Medicare for all supportive campaign and will fight to make sure healthcare is finally a human right
  • I believe paid family leave is essential to the working family and to their economy as a whole that is why I will work the pass paid family leave as well as universal childcare family first will finally no longer just be a slogan, but the law of the land
  • I believe public transportation is the best way to ensure equity throughout a society. If people can get anywhere they want to go for low cost whether it’s to work or to a social event that society will advance in ways that will reach. The heavens
