Liane (Buffie) McFadyen
Liane "Buffie" McFadyen was a 2014 Democratic candidate who briefly sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Colorado.[1] She announced her withdrawal from the race via a Facebook post on March 16, 2014.[2]
McFadyen served in the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 47 from 2003 to 2011.

McFadyen briefly ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Colorado's 3rd District. McFadyen withdrew from the race on March 16, 2014.[2]
2010
McFadyen was ineligible to run for re-election to the 47th District seat due to the term limits of the Colorado House of Representatives.
2008
On November 4, 2008, McFadyen won re-election to the 47th District seat in the Colorado House of Representatives, defeating opponent Troy Sammons (R).[3]
McFadyen raised $40,702 for his campaign, while Sammons raised $12,515.[4]
