The Libertarian Party of Mississippi is the Mississippi political party affiliate of the national Libertarian Party. The group is headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi.

Background

The Libertarian Party of Mississippi has fielded a number of local and national candidates for public office, including two congressional candidates during the 2014 election cycle. According to the website for the national Libertarian Party, the Mississippi affiliate supported one statewide candidate, two congressional candidates and seven candidates for local offices in 2015. The group also supported Chase Wilson and Ric McCluskey in 2016 congressional races.[1][2]
