Two seats on the Liberty Public Schools Board of Education were up for general election on April 7, 2015.

The seats of incumbents Charlene Armitage and David Evans were up for election.[1] Evans and newcomer Eileen Houston-Stewart ran unopposed and won the two at-large seats. Armitage did not file to run for re-election.

This county is home to 230,473 residents, according to the United States Census Bureau.[2] In the 2011-2012 school year, Liberty Public Schools was the 18th-largest school district in Missouri and served 11,327 students.[3]

Clay County outperformed the rest of Missouri in terms of higher education achievement in 2013.
