A Liberty School District Budget Override measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Liberty school district area which is in Maricopa County.

This measure sought to allow the district to adopt a budget which exceeds the set revenue limit by a rate of ten percent for a period of six years in order to further pay for maintenance and operational costs in the district.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| Shall the Governing Board of Liberty Elementary School District No. 25 of Maricopa County, Arizona, adopt a General Maintenance and Operation Budget which includes an amount that exceeds the revenue control limit specified by statute by ten percent for fiscal year 2012-2013 and for six subsequent years as described below? The existing 10% and 5% override authorizations are currently in their first year of the phase out period and have been reduced by one-third. If the override is not approved by the voters for continuation, the existing overrides will phase out by reducing by another one-third for fiscal year 2012-2013 and terminate on June 30, 2013.[3] |
