Liberty Township Fire & Emergency Levy Renewals, 2 (November 2011)
Two Liberty Township Fire & Emergency Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Liberty which is in Crawford County.
Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further three years in order to continue to pay for fire equipment maintenance costs in the township.

- NO 159 (27.37%)
The second measure sought to renew the current emergency levy which is set at a rate of $.06 per $100 of assessed property value for a further three years in order to continue to pay for ambulance and emergency medical services in the township.[1]

Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| First Measure: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Liberty Township for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire equipment at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 3 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.
Second measure: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Liberty Township for the purpose of providing ambulance and emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding 0.6 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.06 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 3 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3] |
