Liberty Township Levy Increase Questions, 2 (November 2012)

Two Liberty Township Levy Increase questions were on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Trumbull County, which is in Ohio, where they were defeated.
If approved, the first question would have authorized the Township of Liberty to impose an additional property tax levy of 1.25 mills ($1.25 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 5 years in order to fund the construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges in the Township.
If approved, the second question would have authorized the Township of Liberty to renew a property tax levy of 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund fire protection services in the Township.[1]
