Creating real affordable housing for working families, 15 an hour minimum wage and reliable public transportation such as rail, 24 hour bus services and shuttles for the differently abled community.
Paid parental leave, as a working mother of a premature child and a difficult pregnancy I understand the challenge parents face when forming a family and working. We need to provide at least 12 paid weeks of time off for parents.
My mother is my role model, she raised 4 children while working as a custodian. Because of her hard work and strength I was able to attend college.
Someone who is honest, has integrity and fights for working families.
I am a working mother, a labor and community organizer and I come from a working family like the ones I seek to represent.
I worked at a concession stand selling hotdogs and sodas at a local little league park. I was there for a summer.
