Lillian Blancas ran for election for the Number 4 judge of the El Paso Municipal Court in Texas. She won in the general runoff election on December 12, 2020.

On December 7, 2020, Blancas died from complications caused by COVID-19. Blancas still appeared on the December 12, 2020, ballot for the El Paso Municipal Court.[1] Blancas winning the general runoff gave the El Paso City Council the responsibility of appointing a judge to the municipal court.[2]
