Lillian Wan
Lillian Wan is a judge for the 2nd Department of the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division. She assumed office on May 25, 2022. Her current term ends on December 31, 2027.
Wan is also a judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. She assumed office on January 1, 2022. Her current term ends on December 31, 2035.
Wan (Democratic Party, Republican Party, Conservative Party) ran for re-election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. She won in the general election on November 2, 2021.
Education
Wan received her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University. She earned her J.D. from Albany Law School.[1]
Career
Before her appointment to the bench, Wan worked as executive agency counsel for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, and was a court attorney and referee in Surrogate’s Court.[1]
