A Lincoln County Children's Trust Levy measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Lincoln County, which is in Oregon, where it was defeated.
If approved, this measure would have proved funding for Children's Trust, which would provide grants for children's services and programs in all cities. It could cause property tax to increase by more than 3%.
This measure would have produced $2.40 million in tax revenues for 2013-2014, $2.44 million in tax revenues for 2014-2015, $2.50 million in tax revenues for 2015-2016, $2.54 million in tax revenues for 2016-2017, and $2.59 million in tax revenues for 2017-2018. These numbers are an estimate by the Lincoln County Assessor.[1]
