Lincolnwood Village Electricity Aggregation Question (April 2011)
A Lincolnwood Village Electricity Aggregation Question was on the April 5, 2011 ballot in the village of Lincolnwood, which is in Cook County.
This measure will ask village residents if they want to allow the village to buy electricity in bulk for village residents in order to get lower rates and cheaper costs. The proposed measure would allow the village to get bids from electricity providers and choose which one would offer the lowest rate. Residents would have the option to opt out of the aggregation if they wanted.[1]
