Boucher answered the following questions from Brookfield NOW:

What would be your main goals for Elmbrook if elected?

Maintaining the recognition for one of the best education communities in the state through commitment, teamwork and tenacity. Ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed in a positive learning environment. This includes addressing issues related to class enrollment size, facilities, curriculum, hiring and maintaining the best teachers and administrators.

The topic of overcrowding at Swanson School has gotten a lot of attention of late. What are your thoughts on solutions for that issue?

The overcrowding at Swanson is a topic of concern that needs to be examined at length by the school board. If the district continues to grow at the current rate, depending on current and projected demographics, re-zoning to establish boundaries for re-assignment to designated school of attendance may need to be re-established as one possible solution.
