Linda Bauer

Linda Bauer is a judge for the 1st County Court Judicial District in Saline County, Nebraska. She was appointed to the court by Governor Dave Heineman on October 21, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of former Judge Patrick McArdle.[1] Bauer will serve an initial three-year term, after which she must run in a yes-no retention election in the next general election. Subsequent terms last 6 years.[2]
Education
Bauer received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and her J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Law in Lincoln, Nebraska.[1][3]
Career
From 1996 until her appointment to the court in 2014, Bauer was a partner at the law firm of Schwab & Bauer in Fairbury, Nebraska, and served as an attorney for Jefferson County.[1]
