Linda Baxter
Linda G. Baxter is a senior judge of the Vicinage 4 Superior Court in Camden County, New Jersey.[1] She was a judge for the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, Part C from November 20, 2006, until she retired on September 1, 2012.[2]
She was recalled to two-year terms as a senior judge in 2012 and 2014.[3]
Education
Baxter received a B.A. from Connecticut College and a J.D. from Rutgers Law School at Camden.[4]
Career
Baxter began her legal career in 1974 with Camden Regional Legal Services, Inc. In 1977, she joined the Department of the Public Advocate in the mental health division. She was appointed Camden County counsel in 1989. In 1991, she became a private practice lawyer for a short time before becoming a superior court judge on October 18, 1991.[4]
