Linda Boyd

Linda Boyd was an at-large member of the Fargo Board of Education in North Dakota from 2010 to 2018.
Biography
Boyd earned a B.S. and M.S. in vocal music from Minnesota State University-Moorhead. When she served on the Fargo school board, she had been the executive director of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra since 2007. Boyd had two children who attended district schools.[1][2]

Linda Boyd ran against fellow incumbent Dinah Goldenberg and nine challengers in the general election on May 10, 2014. The list of challengers included Teri-Lee C. James, Jennifer Benson, David Paulson, Scott Dahms, Rebecca Knutson, Ahmed Kamel, Marty Livingood, Brian Martin and Tyler Jon Anderson. Board members Rusty Papacheck, Rick Steen and Kris Wallman did not file for re-election.[3]
