Chew received her bachelor's degree from the University of Houston, her master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law.[3][4]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Chew was a partner at Douglass and Chew. She also worked for the nonprofit organization Advocacy, Inc. and started her own nonprofit, the Children’s Justice Center of El Paso.[4]
