Davis ran for election to the Orphans Court of Washington County.
Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 51.6 percent of the vote. She competed against Eileen W. Wiggins. Both candidates ran unopposed in the primary.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 14.5 percent of the vote. She competed against Joseph W. Eichelberger, Cassandra Laverne Costley, Eileen W. Wiggins, and incumbent Judge John M. Shriver for three open seats.
