Linda Elam
Linda Elam is a former Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 57 from 2010 to 2012.
Elam served as Mayor of Mount Juliet for six years. Previously, she served on the city's Regional Planning Commission, as the Vice Mayor of the city, and as a District Commissioner on the Mount Juliet Board of Commissioners.
Biography
Elam earned her B.S. in business administration and J.D. from the University of Tennessee. Her professional experience includes working as an attorney.

Elam ran in the 2012 election for Tennessee House of Representatives, District 57. Elam was defeated by Susan Lynn in the August 2 primary election. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Elam defeated Adam Futrell and Robert C. Fields in the August 5 primary.[3] She defeated Democrat Allen Barry and independents Luther C. Lenning and Heather Scott in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
