|- I stand for Equality and Human Rights. Safe and legal abortion care is a woman's human right! I cannot imagine my life without this legal right. I cannot imagine the United States of America without the right to choose who you love, when you want to reproduce.
- I stand for freedom from gun violence to insure "domestic tranquility". We have not done enough to protect our children and our teachers. We have seen that more guns in schools don't make children or teachers more safe. We must act responsibly.
- I stand for Environmental Protection. Our ability to elect knowledgeable professionals to our Water Authority has been stripped away.
Woman's Reproductive rights are being diminished. Abortion is still legal in Florida, but for how long? I cannot imagine my young life without the safe and legal RIGHT to abortion!
Freedom from Gun Violence. As witnessed recently, more guns, even with professionals marksmen, in schools, don't make school children and teachers safer. It's time for Common Sense!
Environmental Protections. Our ability to elect a Water Authority board has been dissolved. Anytime government leaders restrict the people's right to elect an oversight authority, it should be a warning sign of what is to come!
Public Education. Florida is number two in the country for charter school closings. This is an unnecessary cost to tax dollars. All education providers, public and charters, should be required to report to their county's school board and all teachers should be paid and have benefits provided by the negotiations of the teachers union.
Professionally I attempt to emulate my husband of thirty years. He was a wonderful person that knew how to lead. He knew how to make his employees feel good about the work they did and the accomplishments that they achieved and to let them know that they were the backbone of the company.
