Linda Lopez (Democratic Party) is a member of the New Mexico State Senate, representing District 11. She assumed office in 1997. Her current term ends on December 31, 2028.

Lopez (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Mexico State Senate to represent District 11. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Lopez earned her B.B.A. and her MBA from the College of Santa Fe in 1987 and 1992, respectively. Her professional experience includes working as a recruiter for Presbyterian Healthcare Services and as the owner of Lopez Consulting.

Lopez ran for Governor of New Mexico in the 2014 election. She was defeated in the primary election on June 3, 2014.[1]

In April 2013, Lopez declared her intention to run for Governor of New Mexico in 2014.[1] She lost to New Mexico Attorney General Gary King in the Democratic primary on June 3, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
