Linda Yu
Linda Yu (Nonpartisan) was an Area IV member of the Middleton-Cross Plains Board of Education in Wisconsin from 2015 to 2018. Yu was elected to the office on April 7, 2015. She resigned on August 27, 2018 for personal reasons.[1]
Biography
At the time of her service on the board, Yu was an associate professor of finance at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. In addition to serving on the Middleton-Cross Plains Board of Education, she was treasurer of the Whitewater Rotary Club and a board member for the Friends of the Middleton Public Library. She also served Lincoln Inquiry Charter School Governance Council from 2012 to 2014. Yu earned her doctoral degree in finance from the University of Memphis. As of 2015, she and her husband had two daughters.[2]

2018
Three of the nine seats on the Middleton-Cross Plains School District Board of Education in Wisconsin were up for at-large general election on April 3, 2018. All three incumbents filed for re-election. Area II incumbent Sean Hyland and Area IV incumbent Linda Yu were re-elected without opposition. Area V incumbent Anne Bauer defeated challenger K. Bartlett Durand Jr. to retain her seat.[3][4]
