Lindel Fields
Lindel Fields (Republican Party) is the Oklahoma Superintendent of Public Instruction. Fields assumed office on October 7, 2025. Fields' current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Kevin Stitt (R) appointed Fields Oklahoma Superintendent of Public Instruction on October 2, 2025 to replace Ryan Walters (R).[1]
Biography
Lindel Fields earned a horticulture certification from Tulsa Technology Center, a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University, and a graduate degree from Southern Nazarene University. Fields' career experience includes teaching horticulture at Dick Conner Correctional Center; working as an assistant director at Central Technology Center; working as an assistant superintendent, superintendent, and CEO at Tri County Tech; and owning a consulting business.[2]
