A Linden City Mosquito Control Levy Increase proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee County, which is in Michigan where it was approved.

This proposal authorized the City of Linden to increase property taxes by .45 mills ($0.45 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 3 years in order to fund mosquito control. The estimated first year revenue from this tax was $41,252.[1]
